Project Activate is an action-oriented grassroots community empowering Jews and allies to step into leadership with confidence, clarity, and pride. Project Activate brings together people with a deep passion for Jewish life who are not part of an organized movement and helps them transform concern into action.
We exist across political, cultural, and geographical divides. Our work is rooted in belonging, courage, and shared responsibility. Through community-building, education, culture, civic engagement, and philanthropy, we are cultivating a new generation of unapologetically Jewish leaders who strengthen local communities while deepening global Jewish peoplehood.
ABOUT
Project Activate was born in the aftermath of October 7 to meet a growing need for meaningful action within Jewish communities. Across the U.S. and Israel, values-driven, culturally diverse, foreignborn, and first-generation Jews, many of them already professionally accomplished in their respective fields, have been speaking out against antisemitism and anti-Zionism, but lack community, collaborators, and organized resources. Isolated from traditional institutions and navigating a polarized political and media landscape, they struggle to find their path to true impact in support of Israel and the Jewish diaspora.
Project Activate was launched to bring together Jews ready to speak out, connect, lead, and take purposeful action. Our inaugural retreat in Charleston, South Carolina, in January 2025 convened community members from the U.S. and Israel for a powerful three-day gathering that sparked lasting relationships and momentum, including hands-on workshops where participants identified challenges and developed practical initiatives to address them. Building on this foundation, we are hosting our second annual national gathering in Carmel Valley, California, in January 2026, continuing to grow a network rooted in learning, collaboration, and shared responsibility.

We aim to empower Jews and allies to take action with pride and purpose. We build community, provide resources, and inspire the confidence to lead, advocate, and give back to Jewish life and connection to Israel in meaningful, tangible ways.
WHAT WE DO
Project Activate turns concern into action through a relationship-driven, grassroots model that builds trust and launches practical initiatives. Cultural events and community gatherings create accessible entry points for connection and belonging, offering mentorship, peer networks, and shared resources. Immersive retreats unite diverse cohorts from Israel and across the Jewish diaspora to connect, build skills, and spark collaborative projects.
